The former asked ford to spearhead ysl’s ready-to-wear collection for women. The successful man became yves saint laurent rive gauche and ysl beaute creative director in january 2000. The man created provocative and controversial ad campaigns for ysl fragrances opium and m7. These ads were highly successful. Two years later, he became gucci’s management board’s vice chairman. His success didn’t just end in gucci. In april 2005, the lucrative man founded his own brand. His company offers clothing, accessories and eyewear. On that same year, he formed a partnership with estée lauder. They develop a new line of fragrances and cosmetics. Tom ford’s first fragrance was an immediate success.
