Make a Difference

My name, Brenda Allen, mother love to most. As a black woman, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin and friend, I wear many hats. Under this umbrella of hats there’s love, understanding, a confidant, an advisor. I also encourage by keeping an open mind with an open ear which brings forth a peace of mind. I aspire to inspire by passing it on and paying it forward to the young & the old. It can be sharing something I’ve learned from another or doing something in kind as it was done for me. As a black woman/sister I’ve learned to first love & respect myself before looking elsewhere for it and I’ve learned knowledge of self before trying to understand anyone else. I’ve been blessed with an infectious kind of love & joy so that’s what I give back, that’s how I make a difference. With the wisdom & knowledge I’ve obtained over the years, with the love I have and a kindness that can only be reciprocated. We as black people have to keep the torch burning like hell’s fire by passing it on and paying it forward to our young black men and women. They won’t be so cold and callous when it comes to life, they’ll show more respect, there’ll be less black on black crime. Worst crimes ever committed against any black woman or man was the crime committed by a person that looked just like them. Think about it then wake up people! Pass it on and pay it forward, in other words, love thy neighbor and learn to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Make a difference. My name, Brenda Allen, mother love to most.
